CRTA election observation mission observes an election day in Lucani
The CRTA election observation mission will observe the election day in Lucani on Sunday, 16th of December. CRTA observers will be deployed at all 43 polling stations in Lucani, while mobile teams will monitor developments outside of polling stations.

The electoral atmosphere in the municipalities of Lučani, Kula, Kladovo and Doljevac, where local elections shall be held on Sunday, are characterised primarily by public officials’ campaigning. In all four municipalities, an intense presence of public officials was noted – from ministers to directors of services and public companies – accompanied by the abuse of public resources. These are the main findings of the CRTA observation mission whose observers monitor the election campaign on the spot.

The current Commissioner’s mandate is about to expire. Having in mind that the new Law on Personal Data Protection shall come into force in August 2019, and that the reform of the Law on Free Access to Information of Public Importance is underway, it is extremely important that the new Commissioner be appointed without delay, through a transparent procedure in accordance with the Law and that this function be attributed to the best candidate.
A warning measure imposed to a city official due to public officials’ campaigning
The Anti-Corruption Agency imposed a warning measure to Andreja Mladenović because he conducted a public officials’ campaign and abused his position of a Deputy Mayor for promotion of the election list where he was a candidate. The Agency submitted to the competent Misdemeanour Court in Mladenovac a request for initiation of misdemeanour proceedings against Andreja Mladenović.
