A total of 5.784 citizens (35 percent) registered in the voters list voted in local elections in Lucani by 1pm, the CRTA election observation mission stated.
The polling stations in Lucani were opened for voting in local elections and voting proceeds mainly in accordance with established procedures, the CRTA election observation mission stated. A total of 16.483 voters is registered to vote in local elections in Lucani, while eight electoral lists compete in the elections.
The CRTA election observation mission will observe the election day in Lucani on Sunday, 16th of December. CRTA observers will be deployed at all 43 polling stations in Lucani, while mobile teams will monitor developments outside of polling stations.
The electoral atmosphere in the municipalities of Lučani, Kula, Kladovo and Doljevac, where local elections shall be held on Sunday, are characterised primarily by public officials’ campaigning. In all four municipalities, an intense presence of public officials was noted – from ministers to directors of services and public companies – accompanied by the abuse of public resources. These are the main findings of the CRTA observation mission whose observers monitor the election campaign on the spot.
