Vukosava Crnjanski is the founder and director of CRTA. Vuka has been present in the political life of Serbia for more than 20 years, and she has focused her professional career on democratization of society and inclusive political engagement. Most of her work is focused on supporting free and independent journalism, advocating the idea of free and fair elections, and devotion for institutional accountability and openness.
Vuka shares her experience with activists around the world. She has been working with the National Democratic Institute as a political skills trainer since 2003. and since then she has worked with numerous national and international foundations and non-governmental organizations. Thousands of political party and NGO activists have gone through her trainings in public advocacy, strategic planning and political communications, until now.
Vuka is also one of the founders of the Slavko Curuvija Foundation and she participates in the work of the international coalition D4D as a member of the Advisory board. Vuka received international recognition for innovation, commitment and contribution to democracy through the V. Averell Harriman Award for democracy.
