A total of seven percent of citizens registered in the voters list have voted at the Belgrade City Council elections until 10 am, the CRTA election observation mission stated. Margin of error was +/- 0,1 percent. In comparison with 2017 presidential elections voter turnout by 10 am is lower by 2,79 percent, and lower than 1,3 percent when compared to parliamentary elections.

The opening of polling stations for the Belgrade City Council elections went mainly in accordance with established procedures, the CRTA election observation mission stated. A total of 1.606.931 citizens has the right to vote in Belgrade elections.

After more than 20 days, the City Electoral Commission (CEC) have not approved domestic observers to attend the CEC sessions and monitor the work of this electoral body.

The event “Girls have the Word” within the “Inspiring Girls Serbia” campaign held at primary school “Kralj Petar II Karađorđević” in Belgrade, organised by CRTA, marked the International Day of the Girl Child. The aim of the global “Inspiring girls” campaign, which was launched in Great Britain and which is also conducted in Serbia, is to empower girls.
