The number of reports of electoral corruption is increasing. CRTA’s Election Observation Mission has reported another case to the police on suspicion of vote buying in front of a polling station in Palilula. CRTA observers recorded the organized transportation of voters to the polling station and the distribution of money. CRTA has so far submitted a total of seven complaints of criminal offenses related to the elections on election day.<\/p>\n
In the afternoon, the number of polling stations where the unauthorized presence of third persons was recorded, without the reaction of polling boards, slightly\u00a0increased, currently amounting\u00a0to three percent.<\/p>\n
Also, the percentage of polling stations where polling board members keep parallel records of voters who voted, outside the official records, slightly increased as well, from four to five percent. In addition, parallel records of voters were observed in the vicinity of several polling stations, as well as organized transportation of voters.<\/p>\n
At four percent of polling stations individual cases of voters who did not vote personally, but someone else voted on their behalf, were recorded.\u00a0The percentage of seven percent of polling stations where voters were restricted to vote, as they were not found in the Voter Registry, remains the same.<\/p>\n
Irregularities were most frequently recorded at polling stations in Palilula and Vozdovac, followed by Cukarica, Zvezdara, Zemun and Novi Beograd.<\/p>\n
As a reminder, a total of 31,2\u00a0percent of citizens voted in elections for the Belgrade City Assembly\u00a0by 16:00<\/strong>\u00a0(margin of error 0,3 percent)<\/em>, which is lower than voter turnout by 16:00 of 41,4 percent in Belgrade elections in December.<\/p>\n The next regular media conference of the CRTA Election Observation Mission is scheduled for 20:15.
